The Slim Shady LP

Eminem released The Slim Shady LP through Aftermath Entertainment, WEB Entertainment, and Interscope Records on February 23, 1999, his major label debut after Interscope staff at the 1997 Rap Olympics sent his Slim Shady EP to CEO Jimmy Iovine, who played it for Dr. Dre. recorded at Studio 8 at 430 8 Mile Road in Ferndale, Michigan, with the Bass Brothers handling production on the majority of tracks, including all but three songs. the recording process generally began with Dr. Dre creating a beat and Eminem using the tracks as a template for his freestyle raps.
