sixth studio album by Lil Wayne, released june 10, 2008 through Cash Money, Universal Motown, and Young Money. recorded 2006 to 2008, the album followed a run of mixtape releases and guest spots that built wayne's pop crossover, and featured Static Major posthumously after his death in february 2008. the album contains production samples including Alicia Keys' "You Don't Know My Name" (which itself samples Kanye West's work) on track five and David Axelrod's "The Smile" on track six.
