Mank

Mank is a 2020 black and white biographical drama distributed by Netflix, directed by Fincher from a screenplay written years earlier by his father Jack, who died in 2003. Fincher told Netflix executives Ted Sarandos and Cindy Holland he wanted to dedicate one year to a more modest project rather than a third season of Mindhunter, and they greenlit the script immediately. Sound was recorded in mono and the digital black and white image was degraded in post production.
