referenced · charity commission, rush-release, single day recording
Brian Eno commissioned Radiohead to contribute an original song to The Help Album, a War Child charity compilation, with an extreme constraint: the entire album had to be recorded and mixed in a single day (September 4, 1995) and immediately released. This forced efficiency shaped Lucky's production.
