instrumental recorded by The Beatles for Magical Mystery Tour, released november 1967. first composing credit to all four Beatles, recorded 8 september 1967 with mellotron, guitar, bass, maracas, drums and tape loop overdubs on 28 september. original recording included a jazz coda, removed and replaced with tape loops created by Lennon and Starr, extending the track to 9 minutes 38 seconds before being cut to 2 minutes 17 seconds.
