Flamingo

instrumental track from rundgren's fourth album a wizard, a true star, released march 2, 1973 on bearsville records. the track is almost entirely synthesizer, recorded in secret sound studio, which rundgren built inside friend moogy klingman's apartment after cutting a deal where rundgren would supply the equipment if klingman provided the space. rundgren engineered the album himself, running back and forth between control room and studio to set levels.
