6 feet deep is the debut studio album by american hip hop group gravediggaz, released in august 9, 1994 under gee street. the group formed after all four members had bad experiences at tommy boy records, with prince paul calling rza, frukwan, and poetic separately to listen to darker instrumentals, leading rza to suggest they form a group together. prince paul produced the majority of the album (tracks 1 to 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, 16) while rza produced tracks 9, 13, and 15.
